Biography for Jimmy Jemain – Cliff Richard Tribute From Stars In Their Eyes
Jimmy Jemain is firmly established as The No 1 Cliff Richard Look and Sound-alike. His image is so close that people have been known to think that Jimmy Jemain mimes. Make no mistake, every song is live and is sung to perfection. In 1990,Jimmy Jemain won his heat on the TV’s" Stars In Their Eyes" & due to public demand went on to the show a further four times. Jimmy has been singing now for 20 years and his act shows professionalism and class to the highest degree. He has appeared with this show all over the world, in five star Hotels, on board luxury cruise liners and theatres nationwide.
His show appeals to all ages & suits a family audience and they enjoy the special thrill only he can give them. Cliff himself is quoted as saying: “He's spot on A bit too good!” Jimmy also played Cliff Richard in the Cliff Musical in 2003 which toured the country and was also in London’s West End at the Prince of Wales Theatre. In July 2008 Jimmy and his agent were invited guests to a Charity Ball for the Caron Keating Foundation at the Runneymede Hotel to celebrate Cliffs 50th Anniversary which Cliff attended. Jimmy was also booked to sing Congratulations to Sir Cliff Richard in September 08, as he arrived at the Dorchester Hotel in London, for another Celebration of Cliffs 50th Anniversary. He also played the part of Cliff in a film called Confetti & he is regularly seen outside Wimbledon in June most years advertising for different companies. When Jimmy meets Cliff you can see the admiration he has for him & vice versa.
In June 2010 Jimmy and his agent Theme for a Dream Events held the 1st ever Uk Cliff and Shadows Convention in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire and it was very successful and attended by Cliff Richards sister and his niece and this will now be a regular event.
In July 2010 Jimmy performed at a Charity Ball which was also a birthday party to Celebrate Cliffs 70th Birthday at the Dorchester Hotel in London booked by his agent Jim Sandwell Entertainments Ltd/ Theme for a Dream Events.
Jimmy also had a very successful two month tour with a Four Piece Shadows Band in Holland towards the end of 2010.
